· The Easiest Way: Things can be very simple if you send an e-mail telling me exactly what you wish to order. I will e-mail you the total cost including shipping, insurance (if applicable), and handling. You will find that I try to be very fair in regards to shipping costs. My packing and handling charges are minimal, and I usually charge the exact postage/freight. For soapstone and bronze owls, the costs are usually less than stated on my order form. · Another Easy Way: You may also telephone me. However, I am a night owl and must also give social time to my parrots in the morning. Please do not call before 11 a.m. CST or CDT. You may call up to Midnight. 608-770-5684 · Method of Shipping: My normal methods of shipping are the U.S. Postal Service, United Parcel Service, or Federal Express. I reserve the right to ship by Priority Mail (through the U.S. Post Office) unless you specifically request another service. I am very willing to work out the best solution for you via e-mail or a telephone call. If your order is shipped via the post office (USPS), items of value will be insured at your expense. I usually obtain a Delivery Confirmation receipt so you can actually track your order via the USPS Web site. (See below.) U.P.S. and Fed-Ex automatically insure to $100. · Claims: If your package arrives via UPS or FedEx, it is automatically insured to $100. I will insure it for the appropriate amount at your expense. Your package will also be at your expense if shipped by U.S.P.S. The postal service automatically insures up to $50. I will cahrge you for any amount above that. Therefore, if you receive a damaged item, please contact your U.S.P.S., UPS or Fed-Ex office immediately and make a claim. Sometimes they will want to visually inspect the damage on the loss you report. It depends on the local claims office and value of damaged article. If your package was sent via the U.S. Postal Service, you can make a claim for repair or for the value of the item(s), but in the latter case, they will take the broken item(s). A package is only replaceable if it has been insured. · Returns: All of my artwork is guaranteed returnable in unused, unbroken condition if it does not meet with your satisfaction. All returns must be received within 30 days after shipment to you. You pay the return shipping, and please INSURE your return. · Credit Vs Refund: If I am unable to fill your order completely, or you have totaled your money due incorrectly, I will credit your account for any overpayment under $10 and ask you if you wish a refund. If the overpayment exceeds $10, I will automatically refund the excess. If, however, you do not send enough money to cover the entire order, I will ship it to you with a balance due invoice. Please pay promptly! · Handling Charges: Please realize that handling charges are just that - handling often costs as much as shipping. Handling charges can include the box, the packing material, time expended processing and packaging. And I double-box all items that I consider fragile. · Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico and all other foreign addresses: I ship only through the postal system to street addresses only. · How Soon Will I Ship? Although I usually ship within a few days, please allow up to 14 days for delivery. I don't have any elves or munchkins working for me. |
