The original design for this card was a linoleum block print that I did back in the 1970s. I finally manipulated the block print to produce this card. Believe me, the recipient's eyes will open wide when they see this colorful owl.

All of these owls have suffered various injuries so they can no longer to live on their own in the wild. They are very lucky, however, in that they have a permanent, loving home at Barnswallow, A Wild Bird Concern near Wauconda, Illinois. All of these birds provide us with a wonderful educational opportunity.

The back of the card tells about each owl and, by clicking on the picture to the left, you can see both the inside and back. These were all digitally-manipulated images taken by me.
