These Garden Plaques date from my earlier days. These owl designs were originally done in clay. I used a press mold to produce them in stoneware clay. They were high-fired, after a wash of brown stain, and then the eyes were glazed and they were fired again. I am sorry, but they are no more. Larger examples are below.
