I
am honored to have seven large images of my soapstone owls included in this wonderful book by Denny Rogers. Click on the book image at the left to order.
The ultimate reference guide for bird lovers or artists, this final volume in the Denny Rogers Visual Reference Series presents 200 meticulous and anatomically accurate drawings that capture each magnificent owl from every angle and in multiple poses. Along with comprehensive drawings, you’ll find color charts and photographs – both in-flight and still -- to help recreate these formidable night-time hunters down to the stripes, speckles, and streaks of their feathers. Also included are scale-charts for matching your desired dimensions without sacrificing proportion.

It is an honor to be called a friend by Linda Breuer of Barnswallow, a raptor rehabilitation and education complex located in Wauconda, Illinois.
Linda has devoted her life to save and rehabilitate Owls, Hawks, Falcons, and any other Creature that needs help. All of the permanent resident birds are also used in educational programs to make people more aware of the wildlife around them and what they can do to help these very vital co-habitants of the Earth survive. Without them, our lives would be in as much danger of survival as theirs are because of our greed and lack of respect for life around us.
